The third round of free business information and expertise offered through the Business Owners Club returns this Thursday, March 12 at the Big Bear Lake Civic Center. Tomorrow’s session, which runs from 9am to noon, will feature a presentation on Marketing Communications and Target Marketing from the small business experts of the Inland Empire Small Business Development Center, which is working in partnership with the City of Big Bear Lake and the Big Bear Chamber of Commerce to provide learning opportunities for the entire Valley’s small business community—and free of charge. According to Vincent McCoy, Executive Director of the Inland Empire SBDC, “There is quite a need for small business owners to receive hands-on training and techniques. These new skills will help hone management skills in the workplace. Business owners will be able to implement new strategies on a daily basis.” Future Business Owners Club meetings, held on the second Thursday of each month, will feature presentations on Forecasting and Cash Flow (in April), Human Resources and Time Management (in May), and Business Plan and Financing (in June).
