Big Bear Lake, CA — The school district’s Budget Advisory Committee meets tomorrow afternoon, and public comment will be welcomed as the BAC addresses possible budget reductions and potential revenue enhancements for the Bear Valley Unified School District. Tuesday’s meeting takes place at the BVUSD offices, located at 42271 Moonridge Road in Big Bear Lake, at 1:30pm.
Room for public comment regarding the school district will also be available during the regular meeting for BVUSD’s Board of Trustees, which takes place on Wednesday evening, and also at the school district offices. Though the meeting begins at 5:15pm, the open session portion of the school board meeting is scheduled to begin at 6:30pm. The March 3 agenda includes a resolution, to be voted on by trustees, regarding criteria for resolving ties in seniority related to certificated layoffs.
