Boo In The Zoo

Big Bear Lake, CA, October 18, 2012, 6am – This Halloween parents are invited to bring their children all dressed for Halloween fun to enjoy a thrilling ghost and goblin adventure. Boo in the Zoo is from 10am to 5pm on Saturday, October 27 at the Big Bear Alpine Zoo. There will be costume contests for the children, arts and crafts projects, and children’s games. Kids can go on a scavenger hunt and win free bowling games at the Bowling Barn. At 11am and 2pm there will be Halloween treats for the animals, and the 3pm feeding tour will have special Halloween treats for the animals. And like years before, children can get lots of treats throughout the park from gracious business participants and docent goblins all decked out for chills and thrills. Standard park admission rates apply during Boo in the Zoo. It’s $9 for Adults, $6 for children and seniors. Kids under three years old and Friends of the Big Bear Alpine Zoo get in free.
