Big Bear Lake, Ca June 5, 2011 9:00 am – Le Dolce Vita is Big Bear’s new wine tasting room. The wine bar opened May 28th in the Village, across from Northwoods Resort. With a cozy Tuscan atmosphere, the tasting room features wines from boutique California wineries in tasting flights, by the glass, and by the bottle. As part of this weekend’s Village Wine Walk, Le Dolce Vita will be offering a Pinot Grigio and a Sangiovese from Paso Robles’ Bianchi Winery. The family winery is part of Le Dolce Vita owner Bryan Bianchi’s heritage. He, his wife Valerie and partners Jay and Carol Leon are passionate about wine, and wanted to bring a wine country experience to Big Bear. With encouragement from local friends and neighbors, they decided to opened the wine bar. The tasting menu will be changing regularly, with opportunities for wine lovers to try new varieties often. As Valerie Bianchi told KBHR, “5 years of talk……5 months of building and permits…..it’s time for 5 ounces of good wine!”
