Given the national holiday, all five of Big Bear Valley’s post offices will be closed on Saturday, the Fourth of July. Some changes to the hours of operation will be in place for post office locations in Sugarloaf and the Moonridge Annex, which is located behind Vons. The Sugarloaf P.O. will close one hour early, at 3pm, on Friday the 3rd; the Moonridge Annex will be closed for all retail services tomorrow, though there will be mail delivery. The main post offices in Big Bear Lake, Big Bear City and Fawnskin will remain open on their regular schedule on Friday; Big Bear Lake’s P.O. at 472 Pine Knot Avenue will be open until 5pm, while Bear City and Fawnskin close at 4:30 tomorrow. There will be no mail delivery by any U.S. Post Office on Saturday, and normal hours for all post offices will resume on Monday.
