Big Bear Lake City Council to Interview Candidates for Planning Commission, DWP Board Tomorrow; All Five Incumbents Have Reapplied

The Planning Commission of the City of Big Bear Lake and the Board of Commissioners of the Department of Water and Power may get new commissioners—or not—pending tomorrow’s open session meeting of the City Council of Big Bear Lake. On Tuesday at 8:30am, Council will interview candidates for both the Planning Commission and the DWP Board, for which incumbents have submitted applications. Current Planning Commissioners Richard Lambert, Craig Smith and Rick Hackney have applied for the Commission, as have Jim DeGroot and Gregory Breuer. Big Bear Lake residents who will be interviewing for seats on the DWP Board include Michael Natzic, Karen Dalley, Al Waner and Doug MacIver, as well as current DWP Board members Fred Miller and Barbara Willey.
