
Big Bear Lake, CA, August 5, 2010 – As warm summer days invite enthusiasts for outdoor activities, the Big Bear Cycling Association invites you to take part in one of the many bike rides offered throughout the week. “Whether you’re a first time visitor, weekend warrior or full time resident, Big Bear Valley is one of the finest cycling areas in all of California!” says Craig Smith, Vice President of the Big Bear Cycling Association. For beginners, and seasoned cyclists, join the Cycling Association on Saturday mornings at the Copper Q for a community ride. Rides leave at 9:00am, and vary from week to week and will continue throughout the summer. Early birds will enjoy Dawn Patrol, an intermediate mountain bike ride that meets at Bear Valley Bikes on Wednesday, Thursday and Sunday mornings at 6:30am. Road riders have multiple rides to choose from, including Monday night “Both Lakes” ride, Tuesday night training rides, and Wednesday night recovery rides.
