Big Bear City, CA — Deputies of the Big Bear Sheriff’s Station arrested two Big Bear City residents at a home in the 400 block of Booth Way on Friday. Per the press release outlining the arrests of 19-year-old Michael Winger and 25-year-old Angela Ruiz for the alleged possession of a controlled substance for sale: “At approximately 8:45am Friday morning, deputies of the Big Bear Sheriff’s Station executed a search warrant in the 400 block of Booth Way in Big Bear City after receiving information that a large amount of narcotics was in the residence. During the search, deputies seized various quantities of psilocybin (mushrooms), LSD, Ecstasy, marijuana, cocaine, hashish, Ketamine, and prescription medications.
Four adults and a juvenile were found to be living in the residence. Following initial investigation, deputies detained suspects Michael Winger and Angela Ruiz. The suspects were arrested without incident on felony charges of possession of controlled substances for sale and child endangerment. Suspects Winger and Ruiz are being held at the West Valley Detention Center in lieu of $100,000 bail. Arraignment hearings for the suspects are set for April 27th at San Bernardino County Superior Court.”
