Big Bear Chamber Seeking Fourth of July Fireworks Sponsorships; Chamber Mixer at Bear Belly Deli on Tuesday

The Big Bear Chamber of Commerce hosts their next networking mixer tomorrow, May 12 at 5pm, and co-sponsors of the two-hour event are Grizzly’s Bear Belly Deli and the Kiwanis Club of Big Bear Valley. The networking opportunity is free to Big Bear Chamber members, $5 for non-members, and will be held at the Bear Belly Deli located on Moonridge Road at Elm.
Chamber-member businesses, and others, are also encouraged to join the Rotary Club, the Chamber and the City of Big Bear Lake in sponsoring this year’s Fourth of July fireworks show over Big Bear Lake. The goal is to raise $50,000 to finance the annual event, which brings an estimated 25,000 visitors to the Valley each year. Last year’s Fourth of July weekend is estimated to have generated between $900,000 and 1.3 million in revenue for local businesses; this year, the Fourth falls on a Saturday, so should again be a most popular event.
