The Big Bear Chamber of Commerce welcomes their new communications and events coordinator this week, as new full-time employee Angela Meyers started just yesterday. In hew new role at the Chamber, Meyers will be responsible for all marketing and publicity efforts, and will serve as the Chamber’s events and activities planner. The Big Bear Chamber’s President and CEO Sara Russ says, “Angela comes to us with a strong background in communications and events. We are excited to have her on board with the Chamber team, and look forward to her contributions.” Meyers is a graduate of Cal State University Fullerton and has served as the university’s director of public relations for the Associated Students, CSUF, Inc. Most recently, however, Meyers was engaged in a two-month fellowship in Washington D.C., where she worked on events and fundraising for the Women’s Campaign Forum.
