If your business could use more business, the Big Bear Chamber of Commerce offers a networking opportunity this evening, as the first of two Chamber mixers for this month gets started at 5pm. The two-hour mixer will be held at Goldmine Lodge, owned by just-appointed Planning Commissioner Jim DeGroot; the lodge is located at 42268 Moonridge Road. This evening’s offerings, which are free to Chamber members and $5 for guests, will include food and raffle prizes. Big Bear Chamber of Commerce networking mixers are from 5 to 7pm. The next mixer on July 21 will be at First Mountain Bank (at Knickerbocker and the Boulevard) and co-hosted by the Big Bear International Film Festival.
