Big Bear, CA, September 22, 2010, 4:00pm – Don’t miss gazing to the night sky this evening as for the first time since 1991, the full moon, that is a Harvest Moon, will shed light on the beginning of fall—the Northern Hemisphere’s autumnal, or Fall, equinox officially begins tonight at 8:09pm PST marking tomorrow as the first full day of Fall. The equinox is one of two times a year, in September and again in March, when the center of the Sun crosses the equator, and the day and night are nearly of equal length. As Summer officially comes to a close this evening, embrace the on-set of Fall with comfort food, cozy sweaters and a warm cup of cocoa.
