Big Bear Lake, CA, August 22, 2012, 4:00pm – The 29th Annual Antique Wooden Boat Show is returning to Big Bear Lake Friday and Saturday, August 24 and 25. The Over the Bottom Poker Run takes place on Friday from 10am until noon. Spectators around the lake will be able to see the boats as they travel from one dock to another collecting their poker hands. The event provides free public viewing on Saturday from 9am to 4pm at Pine Knot Landing. There will be more than 25 classic restored wooden boats on display, docked at Pine Knot Marina. There’s plenty of free parking at the old IHOP. The boats will be judged on Saturday and awards will be given to the People’s Choice and the Skipper’s Choice.
