Big Bear, Ca April 6, 2011 8:00 am – Long-time Big Bear resident, Renee Cawley has taken over as the owner of Anne’s Salon. Renee has many year’s experience as a hairdresser and has worked in several salons in town. For the past four years years, she had a booth at Anne’s. When the opportunity to purchase the business became available, she decided it was the right time and a good location. Although she has not owned a shop of her own before, Renee told KBHR she is enjoying the experience. Anne’s Salon has been in business for over 20 years in the Stater Brothers shopping center in Big Bear Lake. Many customers have been coming to the shop since its opening, but they also welcome walkins, residents and people from out of town. Anne’s is a full-service salon offering all types of cuts, perms, coloring, manicures, pedicures, waxing, and ear piercing. In the shop currently are 2 hairdressers and one manicurist.
