Alaska USA Big Bear Branch Now Open

Big Bear Lake, CA, April 19, 2013 – The newly relocated Alaska USA Big Bear branch celebrated its grand opening on April 8. Big Bear Mayor Jay Obernolte and members of the Big Bear Chamber of Commerce attended the event and assisted branch staff in a ribbon cutting ceremony. Big Bear residents and the staff at Vons also joined in the celebration. The new Big Bear branch opened on February 11 inside Vons grocery store on Big Bear Boulevard, across the street from its former location. All branch staff relocated to the new branch, which is open Monday through Saturday, 9 am to 6 pm and offers a full range of credit union services, including an ATM and a Self-Service Terminal. Alaska USA currently operates seven branches in the High Desert region of California. Anyone who lives, works, worships, or attends school in San Bernardino County is eligible for Alaska USA membership.
