Big Bear Valley, CA, July 8, 2013 – International Experience USA is a nonprofit organization that focuses on the lasting benefits and positive diplomatic connections accomplished through cultural youth exchange. Exchange students are carefully screened and are eager to attend an American high school and live with a host family for an academic semester or school year to learn about our culture and improve their English. Originating from places such as Germany, Italy, China, Switzerland, Spain, Thailand and Finland, they give host families a chance to learn about foreign cultures too.
Students in the International Experience program must meet strict guidelines. During their stay they are covered by their own health insurance and use their own spending money. Host families provide a bed, meals and include the visiting student in family/American traditions.
