4th of July Road Information

Big Bear, Ca, July 4th, 2011, 12:00pm – On this 4^th of July Holiday, KBHR wants to remind visitors and residents of different traffic routes to take after the fireworks has ended.  If you are visiting for the weekend and are planning on returning home after the fireworks this evening, there are three different routes you can take off the mountain.  Highway 18 the back grade to Lucerne Valley is an ideal route for visitors from the desert regions, including Palm Springs, the High Desert, and Las Vegas.  Highway 38, the eastern route off the mountain to the Redlands area often has less traffic than Highway 18 the front grade to Highway 330.  The new Big Bear Bridge is open, as well as Highway 330 allowing motorists to travel down to the San Bernardino area.  Whichever route you take, drive care and keep it locked onto the Bear, KBHR 93.3FM.
