Big Bear Lake, CA, June 5, 2013 – Throughout National Heart Month in February, Stater Bros. Charities partnered with the American Heart & Stroke Association to help stop two of America’s leading killers. Today, Staters will present a check for $364,901 to the Association at store #120 in Yucca Valley (58060 29 Palms Highway), supporting its cutting-edge research and lifesaving educational programs.
Stater Bros. Charities is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization that uses funds raised throughout the year from customers and suppliers to support critical needs in the communities where Staters employees live and work. The supermarket was founded in Yucaipa, and has become the largest private employer in San Bernardino County.
