Running Springs, CA, July 20, 2012, 1:00pm – Rim Nordic Mountain Biking has started their 18th season this year with races for every level from beginner to Pro. The 2012 USA Cycling Sanctioned California State Downhill Championship series continues tomorrow, Saturday, July 21 with additional races on August 18, and the finals on September 15th for experienced riders. Rim Nordic is offering a free Beginner Race to all participants that is a fun cross-country MTB race on a short, easy, half-mile, mostly flat trail for ages 7 to 70+. The free Beginner Races are on July 22nd and September 16th beginning at 8:30am. Pre-register on-line at Rim Nordic’s Website or sign up on race day at the course located across from Snow Valley Ski Resort on Highway 18. Bring your own bike and helmet to race.
