Thursday’s Assault Suspect Arrested

Big Bear Lake, CA, October 24, 2014 -During the course of follow up investigation, deputies from the Big Bear Sheriff’s Station identified the suspect of yesterday’s suspicious circumstances as 59-year-old Nelson Nodar.  Shortly after noon today, deputies contacted Nodar at his residence in Sugarloaf.  Nodar was taken into custody without incident and booked into the Big Bear Jail on felony charges of stalking.  Nodar remains in custody in lieu of $150,000 bail. An arraignment hearing in this matter is set for 10/28/14 at San Bernardino County Superior Court.
