Big Bear, CA November 9, 2016 – This election cycle has concluded and for the offices that most affect our community and with 100% of the precincts reporting the unofficial results are in. Paul Cook was re-elected to congress. State Senator Mike Morrell will return to Sacramento along with State Assemblyperson Jay Obernolte. Board members elected to the Bear Valley Community Healthcare District are Jack Roberts, Rob Robbins and Donna Nicely. The Big Bear City Community Service District top vote takers are Johnny Russo and Larry Walsh. And the Big Bear Airport District will be represented by Bill Goddard, Steve Castillo and Rick Seifert. There is a possibility that the actual vote count could be adjusted up or down as the Registrar of Voters official results will be posted at a later date.
