Big Bear, CA, February 11, 2013 – Authorities continue to search the Big Bear area for Christopher Dorner whose burned out truck was discovered in the San Bernardino forest near Bear Mountain Resort last Thursday. The number of officers in the search have been scaled back going on day five of the manhunt locally but the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department has assured the public that the search will continue until the whereabouts of Dorner are confirmed. Meanwhile, authorities have put up a $1 million reward for information leading to his capture. Law enforcement have been working to protect dozens of families considered to be targets based on Dorner’s Facebook manifesto against those he holds responsible for ending his career with the LAPD and tarnishing his name back in 2008. Dorner is suspected of killing three people in what is the biggest manhunt in California.
