The Big Bear Lodge No. 617 in concert with the Voice Studio of Diane Sloan Kubeja (ku-bay-yah) is pleased to announce the 2011 “Summer Voice Recital”. Talented, Big Bear students of all ages will be featured in duets, trios, and quartets. Some performers are regional competition finalists and award winners. Recital selections vary from Broadway to Oldies. You’ll hear favorites from The Sound of Music, Little Shop of Horrors, The Little Mermaid, Camp Rock, Rent, Jason Robert Brown, Cole Porter, Carrie Underwood, and many others.
The recital will take place on Saturday, June 4, 2011 at 7:00 PM at the Performing Arts Center Theater in Big Bear Lake. Tickets are $14 for adults, $12 for seniors, and $10 for students. Net proceeds from the recital will help repair the Masonic Lodge in order to provide a place for individual and civic groups to hold community events at reasonable rates. This will be one of the entertainment highlights of 2011—don’t miss it!
