On Monday, June 20th from 11:00 am to 9:00 pm at the Sonora Cantina located at 41144 Big Bear Blvd in Big Bear Lake, the Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) is hosting a dollar per Taco fundraiser . The public is invited.
What is CERT? They are trained citizen volunteers who support first responders in protecting themselves, their families and neighbors and neighborhoods. They help and support our fire and police and you too can get this training and be better prepared. The next 20 hour class is scheduled for Monday, July 18. You can register for the class by calling the Big Bear City Fire District Office at (909) 585-2362. There is no charge for this training.
