California Highway Patrol Investigating Hit-and-Run on Arctic Circle; Witnesses of July 10 Collision Asked to Call CHP

chplogo-thumbThe California Highway Patrol is asking for the community’s assistance in an investigation regarding a non-contact hit and run collision that occurred on Friday, July 10 on Highway 18. At approximately 10am on the 10th, a collision involving a three-wheeled Honda Valkyrie motorcycle and a black Mercedes sedan resulted in serious injuries to the motorcyclist. The collision took place on Highway 18, just west of the dam, at the first passing lane on Arctic Circle. Those who may have witnessed the collision or have any information regarding the black Mercedes are asked to call CHP Officer Paul Adamson at 867-2791.
