Parents, if your children have outgrown their clothes and toys and are in need of bigger sizes and age-appropriate items, the MOM Project hosts a free toy and clothing exchange this week, which will take place during Saturday’s open house event and free family BBQ. From noon to 2pm on the 12th, families are welcome to stop by the MOM Project, now located at 1221 E. Big Bear Boulevard, across from the Highway 38 turnoff in Big Bear City. The free toy and clothing exchange is an opportunity to donate what you no longer use and take what you need; the two-hour open house event will also be an opportunity to meet the MOM Project staff and get information about ongoing free classes, including Mommy & Me Read to Me, groups just for dads, and “Cooking to Feed a Family Under $10.” For more information on Saturday’s open house and free clothing and toy exchange at the MOM Project, please call 585-5607.
