City Council of Big Bear Lake Names Lambert, Smith and DeGroot to Planning Commission, Miller and Dally to DWP Board

The City Council of Big Bear Lake spent their day in an open session meeting, during which time applicants for the Planning Commission and the Department of Water and Power Board of Commissioners were interviewed. The result of these interviews is as follows: the three open seats on the Planning Commission were awarded to Craig Smith and Rich Lambert, both of whom have been on the Planning Commission, and Jim DeGroot, owner of Goldmine Lodge who is said to have an extensive business background. As for the two seats on the Board of Commissioners for the Department of Water and Power, Fred Miller was re-appointed and Karen Dally was given the other seat. Dally’s selection was due in part to her expertise in corporate culture and a background in human resources.
