Bear Valley Community Hospital Celebrates 40 Years

Big Bear Lake, CA, July 31, 2014  – The Bear Valley Community Healthcare District celebrates it’s 40th Anniversary with an event this Saturday, August 2nd from 2pm to 5pm in the parking lot of the hospital in front of the new Brenda Boss Family Resource Center on Garstin Drive in Big Bear Lake.  There will be special guest speakers, including the founder’s son, Dr. Peter Boss, as well as food, drinks and tours of the new Brenda Boss Family Resource Center facility that houses the Family Health Clinic, the Mom and Dad Project and Comprehensive Perinatal Services Program .  This Saturday’s event includes live music performed by the local group, The Heart Lights.  All community members are invited to join the Healthcare District as they celebrate 40 years of life saving emergency care on the mountain.
