The Board of Trustees for the Bear Valley Unified School District will hold this evening’s regular board meeting at Big Bear Middle School, following a welcome reception for three-days-new superintendent, Dr. Nancy Wright. The 6:30pm board meeting, to be held in BBMS room 5, is scheduled to include principal data presentations from Chautauqua High’s Dr. Steve Schour and Fallsvale Elementary’s Jacque Williams, as well as adoption of the Single Plan for Student Achievement for the district’s four elementaries, BBMS and Chautauqua.
In other BVUSD news, the Big Bear High School Concert and Jazz Bands and the Concert Choir will be featured in this evening’s Fall Concert. The performance gets underway at 7pm in the BBHS gym, and cost is just $3. Also, Big Bear High’s tennis team, as of this week, is now tied for first in league, as the Lady Bears won Monday’s match against Citrus Valley and are now 9-2 for the season.
