School Board Meets at BBHS This Evening; Airport District, DWP and MWD Also Scheduled to Meet This Week

The Board of Trustees for the Bear Valley Unified School District will be headed to Big Bear High School this evening, as the regular board meeting will be taking place at the school site, where Principal Mike Ghelber will share specifics of a Principal Data Presentation. This evening’s BVUSD meeting at BBHS is also scheduled to include a performance by the high school’s Concert Choir and a slide show presentation by student council officers of ASB. Open session for the meeting, at 351 N. Maple Lane in Sugarloaf, is scheduled to get underway at 6:30pm in the Media Center.
Other upcoming board meetings include those of the Big Bear Airport District, this afternoon at 2:30pm in the airport pilots lounge in Big Bear City; a special meeting of the Department of Water and Power Board of Commissioners at 9am Thursday, during which time board officer elections will take place at the DWP offices on Garstin Drive; and the Thursday afternoon meeting of the Board of Directors for the Big Bear Municipal Water District, who meet at 1pm on the 4th at 40524 Lakeview Drive.
