Big Bear, CA, March 18, 2014 – According to a national survey, one in three adolescents in the United States is a victim of physical, sexual, emotional or verbal abuse from a dating partner.
In collaboration with Common Ground, DOVES will be educating parents, grandparents, teachers and community members on the warning signs of teen dating violence and share effective tools to guide teens toward healthy relationships.
Love is respect, and it’s important teens understand what that means. Effective methods of communicating with teens about this sensitive subject will be shared at a free workshop on Wednesday March 19th at 6:00 to 7:30pm in the Big Bear Middle School cafeteria.
