The San Bernardino County Board of Supervisors meet for their first regular meeting of the year tomorrow morning [January 12], during which time they are agendized to approve an expenditure up to $80,000 for snow removal operations for four County Service areas, including Area 70, which will incorporate about 2.3 miles of roads in the Sugarloaf area, specifically on and adjacent to Barton Lane. The up-to $80,000 per year allotment extends through June 2012, and will be funded in whole or in part with federal funds provided by the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act. Additional county roads included in this expenditure are in Crestline, Lake Arrowhead and Running Springs. County Supervisors meet at 10am at the County Government Center in San Bernardino; the Big Bear Valley is represented by Third District Supervisor Neil Derry.
