Big Bear City, CA June 21, 2011 1:00 pm – At last night’s Community Services District meeting, the proposed 2011-2012 budget resolution was passed unanimously with no changes. With all members present except for Karyn Oxandaboure, the board also passed the proposed ordinance to collect sewer fees with property taxes, and the proposed resolution to collect delinquent trash and water services fees on the tax roll. Before final passage of this resolution, a public hearing will be held on July 18. During the meeting, John Green was elected by the board to be Vice -President. New board member Karyn Oxandaboure was assigned to the Water and Environmental committees. Larry Walsh was assigned to Water and Finance. During closed session, acting Superintendent Nathan Zamorano was appointed as the new Sewer Department Superintendent, retroactive to March 26. The meeting scheduled for July 4 was adjourned and the next regular meeting of the board will be July 18, 2011.
