City Staff to Give Presentation on Lake Access Points During This Afternoon’s Meeting of Municipal Water District Board

The Board of Directors of the Big Bear Municipal Water District meet for their first regular meeting of the month this afternoon at 1pm, at their offices at 40524 Lakeview Drive in Big Bear Lake. Today’s meeting will include the pinning of new Lake Patrol officers, and a presentation on lake access points, given by Big Bear Lake City Manager Jeff Mathieu and City Engineer David Lawrence. The MWD Board will also consider a special event permit for the Hobie Cat Regatta, proposed for the weekend of June 20; and will cast their collective vote for the alternate member of the LAFCO Board, for which MWD Director Todd Murphy and CSD Director Jeff Newsome are among the nominees.
