City Council Meets Tonight

The next regularly scheduled meeting of the City of Big Bear Lake’s City Council is tonight at Hofert Hall in City Hall.  Items of interest on tonight’s agenda include council consideration of a joint agreement for the Senior Home Repair Program-Community Development Block Grant with the County of San Bernardino.  Also, Council will consider adopting resolutions certifying an Environmental Impact Report, conditional use permit and density bonus affordable housing agreement for new construction on Knickerbocker Road.  In addition, as part of the Green Building Program, council will introduce the first reading of an ordinance to the BBL Municipal Code to provide for a voluntary Green Building Program for residential, commercial and industrial projects.  Open session begins at 6:30pm.
