City Council Meets to Discuss Moratorium on Medical Marijuana

Big Bear, Ca, November 8, 2010, 12:00pm – The Big Bear Lake City Council will meet Tonight at 6:30pm in Hofert Hall for their regularly scheduled meeting. Council will go into closed session at 5:30 for conference with Legal Counsel, and will return to open session at 6:30 where they will consider an extension of a moratorium on the establishment of Medical Marijuana dispensaries in all zones of the city.  Director of Intergovernmental and Community Relations Cheri Haggerty will be presented with a 5-year employee service pin.  Council will also consider rehabilitating older buildings to use in the affordable housing program.
