Personnel Changes for BVUSD

Big Bear, CA, August 28, 2015, 8:00am – Internal personnel changes within the Bear Valley Unified School District will help to fill the voids left by Mike Ghelber and Paulina Ugo.  Ghelber has been Big Bear High School’s Principal for 8 years and has accepted the position of Director of Human Resources for the Coachella Valley Unified School District.  Paulina Ugo is the Executive Director of Student Services and Alternative Education who will be joining the staff at Alvord Unified in Riverside.  Both resigned from the school district on August 19th with an effective date of August 31st.  At yesterday’s special Board meeting of the Bear Valley Unified School District, the Governing Board appointed Tina Fulmer as Principal at both Big Bear High School and Chautauqua High School campuses.  Fulmer is currently the District’s Director of Personnel.  The new position of Coordinator Special Education was created and Dottie Jaeger was appointed as Interim to that position.  The appointments will be effective September 1st.
