Big Bear Lake Vehicle Break-Ins

Big Bear Lake, CA, October 22, 2012, 1pm – Three Suspects have been arrested for Possession of Stolen Property from numerous vehicle break-ins in Big Bear Lake. On October 19th, the Big Bear Sheriff’s Station got a report of a vehicle break-in on Crane Drive.  During their investigation, deputies discovered thefts from seven additional cars. All eight vehicles were unlocked. Three suspects, identified as 18-year-old Kyle Burton-Podgornik and two 17-year-old males, all residents of Big Bear City, were taken into custody without incident. All three suspects were arrested on felony charges of being in possession of stolen property. The two juveniles were issued citations to appear in court and released to the custody of their parents. Kyle Burton-Podgornik remains incarcerated in lieu of $25,000 bail with an arraignment hearing set for tomorrow at San Bernardino County Superior Court.
