Bear Valley Community Healthcare District Calls Special Meeting

Big Bear, Ca, August 30, 2011, 12:00pm – The Bear Valley Community Healthcare District will meet on Wednesday, August 31st, for a special meeting of the Board of Directors.  The board will go into closed session at 5:00pm in the Hospital Conference Room and will confer will legal counsel on anticipated litigation, will review the risk management report, and will meet with labor and  property negotiators. Also in closed session, board members may appoint new legal counsel, and a performance evaluation will be conducted of the Chief Executive Officer Mark Hecksel.  The board will then move into open session at 6:30pm in the Hospital Cafeteria, and
will decide on committee assignments for board members, will conduct a self evaluation, and reports will be given by the Hospital Foundation, and Hospital Auxiliary.  The meeting is open to the public, and those attending may speak during public comment time.
