Big Bear, Ca, November 30, 2011, 2:30pm – Another bank is coming to the Big Bear Valley. US Bank, the nations 5th largest commercial bank will be opening a branch in Big Bear in the second quarter of 2012. The branch will open in the space next to Starbucks in the Vons shopping center, and according to US Bank, the branch manager will be Carol Mulvihill. Mulvihill previously served as the branch manager at Union Bank for many years in Big Bear, and has been in the banking industry for more than 30 years. US Bank will be hiring employees from Big Bear for the new branch, and currently has the positions posted on their website, www.Usbank.com, for six different positions. US Bank will join existing banks First Mountain Bank, CitiBank, Union Bank and Alaska Federal Credit Union in the Big Bear Valley.
