Though no arrests have yet been made, the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department seized a number of marijuana plants in Big Bear City yesterday. Per a statement released by the Big Bear Sheriff’s Station: “Shortly before 3pm [on April 7], detectives from the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department Narcotics Division served a search warrant at a residence in the 300 block of Fairway Boulevard in Big Bear City. Although no one was at the residence at the time the search warrant was served, detectives found and seized an indoor marijuana grow consisting of 45 multiple strain, high quality plants and an elaborate grow system. The eradication of the indoor grow has prevented drug sales in the estimated potential amount of over $157,000. The suspect or suspects are believed to be out of the Newport Beach area and the matter remains under investigation.”
