Big Bear Lake, CA, September 11, 2012, 8am – The California Highway Patrol is hosting an Age Well Drive Smart class for senior drivers. Medical advances and better choices are allowing people to live longer more active lifestyles. As a result California’s older population is now one of the fastest growing driver groups.
The Age Well Drive Smart Class will address the following topics:
How to tune up your driving skills.
Refreshing your knowledge of the rules of the road.
Learning about normal, age-related physical changes and how to adjust to them.
When it may be time to limit or stop driving.
Understanding the alternatives to driving.
On Monday September 17, 2012, at 10:00 a.m., the California Highway Patrol (CHP) will be presenting an Age Well Drive Smart Class at the MWD building (Municipal Water District) located at 40524 Lakeview Drive in Big Bear Lake, California.
There is no cost for attending the class. Drivers interested in attending the class need to RSVP with CHP Officer Baker, by September 14, 2012 at (909) 867-2791. Space is limited to the first 25 people, additional classes will be scheduled as needed.
