Big Bear, CA, May 18, 2015 – On Sunday evening, the Soroptimist International of Big Bear Valley’s 2015 Man About Town Campaign came to an end with a Western Ho-Down at Northwood’s Resort. This years theme was “Charging Forward for Women’s Health” and for the last six weeks, Mike Kostiuk, Rob Robbins, and Craig Brewster have been holding events to raise money to support local women’s health programs including Soroptimist’s annual mammogram program.
The skits performed at the finale were especially funny this year with the men on Mike Kostiuk’s team dancing around in cowboy boots and nighties. Truly a sight that won’t soon be forgotten. All three candidates together raised a total of $57,002. with Craig Brewster of Nottingham’s Restaurant raising the most money and thus was crowned this year’s ‘Man About Town’.
