CalTrans will in coming weeks, and starting today, host mountain transportation meetings to alert residents of the San Bernardino mountains of upcoming highway projects. These meetings, the first of which is this evening at the Lake Arrowhead Resort at 6:30pm, will be an open-house style format, and will include experienced personnel from CalTrans, the California Highway Patrol and the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department. The Big Bear meeting will be held on Tuesday, June 9 at the Big Bear Lake Performing Arts Center, and is scheduled to run from 6:30pm to 8pm. Other meetings will be held in Running Springs, at the Hootman Senior Center tomorrow, Thursday, at 6:30 and in Crestline at the San Moritz Lodge on Wednesday, June 3, and also at 6:30pm.
