Back To School Night Schedule and New Position For Tim Larson

Big Bear, Ca, August 4, 2011, 12:00pm – At last night’s meeting of the Bear Valley Unified School District Board of Trustees, Director of Personnel and Educational Services Tim Larson was appointed as the Principal of Fallsvale Elementary School.  Mr. Larson will retain his position as Director of Personnel and Educational Services, as the Fallsvale Principal position has always been an additional duty to an existing position.  Mr. Larson will mainly work out of the school district office in Big Bear, and will travel back and forth to Fallsvale, which is located in the Forest Falls area.  The principal position will add a $500 a month stipend to Mr. Larson’s already existing salary.    At the BVUSD board meeting, the back to school night schedule was announced.  Baldwin Lane Elementary will have the first back to school night tonight at 5:30pm, Northshore Elementary will be on August 11^th at 5:00pm, Big Bear High School on August 15th at 6:30pm, Big Bear Middle School on August 16^th at 6:15pm, Big Bear Elementary on August 18^th at 6:00pm, Chataqua High School on August 31^st at 6:00pm, and Fallsvale Elementary on September 1st at 6pm.
