School District Board Meeting Will Be Busy In Closed Session

 Big Bear, Ca, May 17, 2011, 9:00am – The Bear Valley Unified School District will meet  Wednesday night for its regularly scheduled meeting of the Board of Trustees.  In closed session, the board will meet to consider a public request for the reinstatement of a principal. While the principal is not named on the agenda, the assumption is that the discussion is in reference to Julie Chamberlin, Big Bear Middle School Principal, who was told earlier this year by the board that she would be sent back to the classroom.  Also in closed session, the board will also conduct an employee performance evaluation for Interim Superintendent Kegham Tashjian.  The public may speak on items in closed session before the board enters into it at 5:15pm.  In open session Patrick Renzi, the Foodservice Supervisor, will give a presentation on the BVUSD Child Nutrition Program.  As always, the public is encouraged to attend and speak during public comment time.
