Big Bear Lake, CA, October 24, 2014 – In a letter addressed to the Board of Directors of the Bear Valley Community Healthcare District dated October 20, 2014, Sara Russ announced her resignation as President of the Board, effective immediately. According to Russ, her husband recently accepted a teaching position at a local college, which unfortunately requires them to move off the mountain.
The Board wishes Sara’s family well as they set out on their new adventure. BVCHD is now in the process of identifying the steps required to fill the vacant seat with the assistance of the Registrar of Voters and District Legal Counsel.
