MWD Board Still Enroute To Aquiring DWP

Big Bear, Ca, July 5, 2011, 3:00pm – The Big Bear Municipal Water District will hold its regularly scheduled meeting on Thursday, July 7th at 1:00pm.  Items on the agenda include the continued discussion about the possible acquisition of the Department of Water and Power by the MWD, specifically the board will receive a report from the MWD’s financial advisor concerning bond financing associated with the acquisition of the DWP.  The board will then consider authorizing underwriting services for bond sale associated with acquiring the DWP. The public is encouraged to attend the meeting, held at the MWD offices on Lakeview Drive, and may speak during public comment time.
