Mary Norman Appointed As Chief Nursing Officer

Big Bear, Ca, February 7, 2011, 12:00pm – Mary Norman has accepted the post of Chief Nursing Officer for the Bear Valley Community Healthcare District.  In this position, she will be responsible for overseeing nursing care in the skilled nursing facility, the Acute Unit, and in the Emergency, Surgery, and Respiratory Therapy departments.  Ms Norman previously worked for the district as a nurse, Director of Nursing, Chief Operating Officer, and Chief Executive Officer.  She returned to school in 2004 to earn a Masters in Nursing from the University of Phoenix and her National Case Manager Certification.  Ms Norman is expected to begin her duties as the Chief Nursing Officer with the district on February 22.
