The Lady Bears achieved victory yesterday. The Big Bear High School varsity volleyball team achieved a three-game win over Loma Linda Academy on Wednesday, while the tennis team defeated Apple Valley 15-3. Today, the Bears take on cross-mountain rivals Rim of the World in home matchups this afternoon. The community is invited to Our House to cheer on the girls against Rim. JV volleyball takes to the net against Rim at 3:30pm, with varsity volleyball set to play at 4:30pm; the tennis team begins their match at 3:15pm at Big Bear High School.
In other school news, Big Bear Elementary hosts their Fall Festival this evening, from 4 to 7pm. The festival event will include children’s activities and a DJ, as well as an opportunity to meet the Bobcat staff. Big Bear Elementary’s Fall Festival is free, and food will be available for purchase.
Update: Two for three! The varsity tennis team won their match over Rim, as did JV volleyball.
